Lucy passed away in 2004. She left behind many who were inspired by her ability to capture the essence of the natural world and most of all her infectious enthusiasm for the creative process.

Weather it was during  the many group demonstrations or private lessons, she passed to others the creative spark  All with a warm smile and an encouraging “give it a try “attitude  

Her own painting developed over the years to a confident no fear method that amazed anyone who witnessed. If she saw the color teal or yellow in a face, she put it down with out hesitation The watercolor practice is unforgiving but for Lucy that was the excitement.
